Chemglass Life Sciences Flex-Drive Coupling for 10mm OD Glass Stirrer Shaft
Flex-Drive Coupling for 10mm OD Glass Stirrer Shaft. The design of our Flex-Drive stirrer coupling eliminates the need to use rubber hose or universal adapters to attach your glass stirrer shafts to overhead motors. Coupling incorporates a 3in long epoxy coated spring to compensate for misalignment and to help isolate breakage. Lower end of coupling has a Celcon compression nut which secures the glass shaft to the coupling via a silicone rubber insert. The silicone insert, along with the knurled compression nut, permits hand tightening of both ground and polished shafts. Top epoxy coated bushing is fitted with an allen screw and will accept 5/16in O.D. stirrer motor shafts.

Support, Stirrer Stand. Support Stand was designed to accommodate vessels up to 10" diameter, to sit close to the support rod. Support rod is ideal for mounting stirring motors. Each of the four corners rests on a rubber cushion. The powder coated steel base measures 7.875” (200mm) W x 12.5" (316mm) deep overall and has a black enamel finish. Support rod is .625” (16mm) diameter x 30” long.

Compact Tru-Stir Shaft Coupling fits 6.35mm Shaft OD for use with Jacobs Chuck. Similar to CG-2044 but the overall height is 1” shorter. The unique design of our Tru-Stir™ stirrer shaft coupling eliminates the need to use rubber hose or universal adapters to attach your stirrer shafts to overhead stir motors. Coupling incorporates a unique helical S.S. spring permitting up to 1/8” of offset misalignment. Coupling is rated for 21 in-lbs of torque without the backlash normally associated w/common coil springs.Lower portion of coupling has a nylon adapter w/one piece collar for attachment to 6.35mm stirrer shafts. Upper adapters permit the coupling to be used w/ a standard Jacobs style 3-jaw chuck. Upper coupling size is 3/8". Adapter is also available for use with CG-2047 flexible shafts having 5/16” end fittings. Overall length of the coupling is 3”. Supplied complete with an allen wrench set.
